Unsere Rückreise

Our journey home

Welcome to our latest blog entry!

We have been back for some time now and have been able to settle back in Switzerland. The time in India almost feels like a dream from another life. The trip was absolutely fantastic, nevertheless we were still very happy when we could finally see our families and friends again! The food and a warm shower were also the top highlights once we were back home. And for Sascha, the feeling of being able to drink directly from the tap again was so perfect that he had to send us a picture of it immediately!

During our wonderful time in India, we experienced a lot. Much more than we could even write in all the blogs. For example, we were invited to an Indian wedding, experienced a fight between tuk-tuk drivers about who had the right to take us (in the end we had to take a taxi) and were able to observe wild animals deep in a tiger reserve – accompanied only by two guides and two cooks.

But most of all we will miss the people who made this stay so unforgettable! We would therefore like to use this blog entry to thank them all.

– Many thanks to Ravindra and Sameer for the support we received from you on site.
– Many thanks also to Krishna, Diwakar, Vishnu and Vipin for the insight we got into the work at BBAN.
– And many thanks also to the trainees and IT colleagues who often accompanied us and helped us with the organization of our trips.
– Last but not least, many thanks to Stefanie and Antonia for organizing from Switzerland!

Thanks to all of you, we were able to grow as people and enjoy our time in India!

Finally, we would also like to thank you readers. Thank you for accompanying us on our adventure! There are still a few other groups abroad if you want to browse around, and it won’t be long before the next cohort sets off on an adventure they won’t soon forget!

– Ramon, Sascha, Damian und Sandro
